You will receive a gross salary on a monthly basis. Your net salary will be paid around the 24th of each calendar month and you will receive an e-mail from noreply@loket.nl with a link to view you pay slip once you have logged in with your personal details. You can also log in via the Werknemerloket app, which you can download from the Appstore.
At the latest when you have received your first payment, you will receive an email from noreply@loket.nl to gain access to Loket. This will most likely be your personal email address.Β
Find more info here (in Dutch) on how to log into Loket for the first time.
Each year in the month of May (or earlier in the case of expiry or termination of your employment agreement) you will receive a holiday allowance amounting to 8% of the gross salary earned over the preceding 12 months at Frits.
For your information:
Every month, the Employer deducts income tax (loonheffing) from the Employee's salary on behalf of the Tax Authorities (Belastingdienst) and the UWV. The income tax includes the wage tax (loonbelasting) and the premium for national insurance schemes (de premie voor de volksverzekeringen: AOW - Algemene ouderdomswet; ANW - Algemene nabestaandenwet; WLZ - Wet langdurige zorg). You can only turn your income tax on and off from the first of each month.
Frits compensates your travel expenses when you live more than 10km (by bike or by car) away from the Frits office. Together we will investigate the route with the lowest kilometers distance via Google Maps (Google is our best friend and is always right π). From the first of January 2024 youβll receive β¬0,23 per km with a maximum of β¬350,- a month.
So if one of the two routes via Google Maps (by bike or by car) is more than 10 km, you are entitled to declare travel expenses. It does not matter if you then come by bike, public transport, car, stepping or any other way. Of course, if you can, we will encourage you to take the bike, because it is the healthiest and most eco-friendly way to travel π².
How to declare your travel expenses, you can read here!
One important note:
Declarations must be filed in Werknemerloket within one month of the time when the expenses in question were made. Frits will not compensate your travel expenses if they were incurred more than 1 month back only if you have a good reason and get agreement from management. So make sure you do not start saving up your expense claims.
For on-call workers:
From 1 September 2022, the travel expenses policy for on-call workers has changed. The same rule (that applies to internal employees) now also applies to on-call workers: if you live more than 10 km from the office, you are entitled to a travel allowance. But note, you can only declare travel expenses if you come by car, bike or public transport and your student NS card is not valid.
Below are the 4 most possible options (if you live more than 10 km away from the office):
Do you have a valid NS student card and do you travel by public transport? Then you cannot declare your public transport costs, because the government already pays your NS student card.Β Β
Do you not have a valid NS student card and are you travelling by public transport? Then you can declare your public transport costs.
Do you have a valid NS student card, but are you travelling by car for any reason? Then you can still declare car or bike expenses according to the steps in these guideline.Β
Do you not have a valid NS student card and do you come to the office by car? Then of course you can also declare a car or bike allowance via Werknemerloket.
If you do not have any student public transport (NS student card) or if it stops during the summer period, you can declare all of your travel costs (included OV costs).
Frits does provide a pension arrangement via a.s.r. Frits contributes 5% and asks for an employee contribution of at least 1%, which is mandatory. Of course you can make a higher contribution according to your own wishes. The portal of a.s.r. is very userfriendly and you can change most things yourself.
In your first month at Frits you will receive an e-mail (personal e-mailaddress) with your log in details looking like below:
Workation with Frits:
Every year in September / October Frits organizes a trip to a warm destination to get our Vitamin D levels up. And it is amazing! Ask any Fritser who has been on of our Workations and youβll get stories for hours.
With the workation Frits would like to encourage you to get to know your fellow Fritsers better, share good moments and create new memories. We will work normal hours but in the evenings and weekends we will go explore, soak up some sun and have fun! Everyone will have to contribute an X amount, and Frits will cover some of the costs as well. There is a possibility to pay by a little amount each month from your gross salary.
There is a group of different people also known as the Workation crew, who will organize the Workation in that specific year.
Your own workation:
In addition to the Frits workation, each employee is allowed 2 weeks per year on their own workation. Of course, you must first discuss this with your manager and get approval. We would also like to say that you should take into consideration that most of the time you work there you will be available around the dutch time zone (this is especially important for the mortgage advisors).
All Fritsers should have some proper equipment to work with. To support this, we would like to give you (in loan) a laptop from the Apple family as a nice welcome gift. Please treat it as your own!
Receive a company laptop
The laptop you get from the company depends on the job description. In addition, only employees on the payroll receive a laptop on loan from Frits. Are you a freelancer, on-call worker or trainee? Then you must provide your own laptop.Β
Frits loves a party and will find any reason to celebrate. Our Partyplanners are in charge to organize company wide activities / events on a quarterly basis.
We do encourage everyone to organize activities outside the standard outings - with your circle or fellow Fritsers with a common interest. If you feel like celebrating something special, or you just want to spend more time with your colleagues, feel free to do so. The more moments we share together the more memories we create!
We also think it is important that you, as a team, do something fun together outside of work. Therefore, we have a budget of EUR 75 per calendar year for each team member. The team manager is responsible for the budget and is (in good consultation with the team) free to spend it in one sitting or to organise multiple events.Β
The moment is there you are planning to buy a house / apartment yourself. Lucky you working for a mortgage advisor and you will also receive 20% discount on the invoice of your own mortgage advise. Please note this perk is only for Fritsers on the payroll (included on-call workers).
All Frits employees, including freelancers, can give their family and friends a discount of EUR 100 on their invoice. Ask the advisor who is helping your friend to apply the discount.
Chances are that if you work at Frits, you have great friends and former colleagues who would also be a good addition to our team and who may be interested in one of the current job openings. To help us grow our teams, we will offer a referral bonus to any team member who helps us find new hires. The bonus is EUR 500,- net.
How does it work?
Introduce your candidate (ZZP or permanent) by email to our Recruiter and attach the resume / LinkedIn profile or during on of the referral sessions with our Recruiter.
It's as simple as that!
However, bear in mind, to be eligible for the bonus:
The referral candidate is not yet in our recruitment process / system (for the last 6 months)
When two Fritsers introduce the same person, it's first come first served
The referral candidate made it through his/her first 3 months.
For ZZP'ers, the rule is that they worked the first 3 months according to their agreed number of FTE hours.
If as a ZZP'er did not reach the hours because Frits was not able to provide enough work during the first 3 months? Then this does not immediately mean that a referral bonus will not be paid. We will then mainly look at if we were able to properly measure 3 things: commitment, effort (bijdrage) to Frits and performance.Β
